How to Use this Blog

You are invited to write on the IH- BLOG.
You can do so in two ways:

  1. Comment on blogs already posted (there is space at the bottom of each blog); or
  2. Write a new blog as a guest author about a topic that you would like to discuss. Please, contact me at ekleinau@masimax.com for further information.

This is a moderated blog. When you write a comment, the blog administrator is notified and will review and post your comment as soon as possible.

IH-Blog Guidelines

The purpose of the IH-Blog is to exchange information about global health concerns and issues. It is targeted to the members of the APHA International Health Section and all those caring about or working on similar topics. All posts will be screened to prevent spam and inappropriate content.

  • We ask that you refrain from posting unsolicited advertisements.
  • Please keep in mind that our communities are public spaces, so don’t post anything that you don’t want the world to see. Credit card numbers, product keys, and other confidential information, including anything covered under a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), should not be posted.
  • We caution you against giving out any personally identifiable information (such as social security number, credit card number, name, address, telephone number, driver’s license number, password, etc.) online. This information can easily be used for illegal or harmful purposes.
  • Please treat all other online participants with respect.
  • You may not use the IH-Blog to publish, post, distribute, or disseminate defamatory, obscene, or other unlawful material or discussion.
  • In addition to upholding this code of conduct, you are responsible for adhering to all local and national laws that pertain to your location.
  • You are responsible for any actions you may take based on advice or information you receive online. Use your own judgment when evaluating information provided through any communication service, and remember that the information provided could be from people at any age and experience level. The decision to conduct transactions is your own.
  • You are responsible for anything you post on the IH-Blog.
  • The blogs and comments posted on IH-Blog are solely the creation and opinion of the author. They do not necessarily reflect or endorse positions or policies of APHA or the International Health Section of APHA.
